The Annapurna Region in central Nepal is one of the country’s most popular trekking areas, home to classic routes like the Annapurna Circuit, Annapurna Base Camp, Ghorepani Poon Hill, and Mardi Himal. Most treks begin from Pokhara and pass through rhododendron forests, terraced hillsides, and traditional Gurung and Magar villages.

Trekkers are rewarded with close-up views of Annapurna I, Machhapuchhre (Fishtail), Dhaulagiri, Nilgiri, and Hiunchuli. The region offers options for all levels, from short 4–5 day hikes to full 2–3 week teahouse treks. The best seasons are spring (March–May) and autumn (September–November).
