Cheerful Holiday Pvt Ltd. is amongst the leading tour operators in Nepal, established in the year 2002 under the Nepal Government company act rule 2053 having the license No. 714/059 and affiliated with CHEUNG HUNG TOURIST SERVICE, Hong Kong as a sister company. The Managing Director of the company Mr. Narayan Prasad Gurung (KONEY) who has been in the trade since the year 1989 and after gaining a long experience, established his own company, CHEERFUL HOLIDAY Pvt Ltd. in 2002.

We were extremely pleased with the trekking tour that Cheerful Holiday designed and then continually modified as we enjoyed trekking through the most dramatic scenery in the world. Koney put together our itinerary based entirely on our preferences and then was extremely responsive when it became obvious we had bitten off a little more than we could chew. My daughter and I originally planned to trek the Annapurna circuit and then into the Annapurna Sanctuary (ABC).
After completing the Circuit, we decided to make a change and go to Chitwan, a game park with elephant safaris, and Lumbini, the birthplace of Buddha, instead.
All this with just a phone call by our amazing guide from the mountains to Koney in the office. And we were still able to travel to Annapurna Base Camp (my bucket list item) via helicopter!!
When my daughter came down with a serious stomach illness at the trail end of our trip, Koney personally rushed us to a top notch travel medical clinic in Kathmandu where we were immediately admitted, treated royally and charged fairly. He admonished us when we waited until 8 am to call him: “You should have called right away (4 am)- my phone is on all the time !!” He assisted with the necessary flight changes, going himself to the airline office, and made sure I was well fed. Thank you Koney for the most amazing trip!
