Located just above Pokhara, this trek offers stunning panoramic views of the Annapurna range, Machapuchare (Fishtail), and the lush green hills surrounding the Pokhara Valley. The trail passes through traditional Gurung and Magar villages, terraced farmlands, and serene forests, providing a cultural and natural escape just a short distance from the lakeside city.

This trek is rated easy, with daily walking of 3–5 hours on well-maintained trails. It is suitable for beginners, families with children, and those looking for a quick nature getaway.

Best Time to Trek:

  • Spring (March–May): Pleasant temperatures, blooming rhododendrons, and clear mountain views.

  • Autumn (September–November): Stable weather, crystal-clear skies, and spectacular visibility. Ideal season.

  • Winter (December–February): Cool and crisp mornings with clear views; nights can be cold but manageable.

  • Monsoon (June–August): Possible but with occasional rainfall; leeches may be present on lower trails.
